Overview
This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all paid services on the Upcharify platform, including but not limited to doctor consultations, health packages, and subscription plans offered by Upcharify Health Tech Pvt Ltd.
We aim to process all valid refunds fairly and promptly. Please read this policy carefully before making a payment.
Cancellation by User
2.1 Doctor Consultations

2.2 Subscription Plans
- Subscriptions cancelled within 24 hours of purchase (and before any service is used) are eligible for a full refund.
- Subscriptions cancelled after 24 hours are non-refundable. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
- We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial subscription months.
2.3 Health Packages
- Health packages cancelled before any service within the package is utilized are eligible for a full refund.
- Partially used packages are not eligible for refunds.
Cancellation by Doctor / Platform
If an appointment is cancelled by the doctor or by us due to:
- Doctor unavailability or emergency.
- Technical issues on our end preventing the consultation.
- Any reason attributable to the Platform.
You will receive a 100% refund to your original payment method, or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
In case of platform-side cancellations, you will be notified via SMS/email/in-app notification as early as possible.
Eligible Refund Scenarios
Refunds are also applicable in the following situations:
- Duplicate payment: If you are charged twice for the same transaction, the duplicate charge will be fully refunded.
- Technical failure: If a consultation could not be completed due to a verified technical failure on our servers (not your device or internet), you are entitled to a full refund or a free re-consultation.
- Unauthorized transaction: If you report an unauthorized charge to your account within 7 days of the transaction, we will investigate and refund if verified.
Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- Dissatisfaction with the medical opinion or advice given by the doctor.
- Consultations completed successfully where the user participated.
- User-side technical issues (poor internet, device problems).
- Violation of our Terms and Conditions leading to account suspension.
- Requests made beyond the refund request window (see Section 6).
- Consumable or downloadable products once delivered.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please:
- Email us at support@upcharify.com with the subject line: "Refund Request – [Your Order/Booking ID]".
- Include your registered mobile number or email, the transaction ID, and the reason for your refund request.
- Submit the request within 7 days of the appointment or payment date.
Our team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and resolve it within 7–10 business days.
Refund Processing Time
Once a refund is approved:

Refunds are credited to the original payment source. We do not issue refunds in cash or via third-party payment instruments other than the original method used.
Disputes
If you are dissatisfied with the resolution of your refund request, you may escalate the matter by emailing support@upcharify.com with "ESCALATION" in the subject line. We will re-review your case within 7 business days.
